Francesco Rinaldi Grignolino d'Asti 2011
It is a young and delicate wine, light ruby red in colour. It combines a refined and characteristic taste to its original and fruity bouquet. Vinification: a rather short fermentation takes place in stainless steel tank. After decanting and some months of ageing in another tank, it is bottled. This wine is suitable for long ageing.
The company was founded in 1870, when our grandfather, Giovanni, left Diano d'Alba and walked to Barolo, where he had just inherited a vineyard and a house. As he was a fine wine-dresser, he was immediately conquered by the subtle charm of these hills. Some years later he was supported by the help of his sons and today the business is run by his descedants, who love this evocative little world jus like he did.
