What to Expect

Nebbiolo is a fickle grape famed as much for its pale appearance as for its tannic character and produces some of the most perfumed and richly flavored wines. Though generally only medium-bodied, the wines possess rose and anise scented aromatics and deep flavors of cherry, orange peel and subtle green herb tones.

with it's deep and rich, penetrating nose of limestone, menthol, hot tar, old tires, prosciutto, and black pepper. In the mouth there is great freshness to the strawberry fruit before the intense flavors of tar, earth, and dried meats come to the fore. Lots of structure here with a rich, chewy mouthfeel, Intense tannins which may outlive the fruit. Excellent today but I'm not positive there is much upside to holding this
