Winemaker's Notes:

3 Bottle Limit per customer! Winemaker's Notes: This is a perfect example of the 2005 vintage in the Santa Maria Valey-gobs of sweet red fruit(raspberries and strawberries) with a firm background of oriental "hard spice"(clove, cinnamon and cardamom). The 2005 harvest weather did not pressure us to pick like it did in 2003 and 2004, so we were able to leisurely pick ripe(not over-ripe) fruit. This wine was aged for 16 months in Francois Freres barrels(60% of which was new), and it was bottled last spring without fining and filtration. Like our other 2005 Pinots, it will be hard to lay this one down. Enjoy!
