Old vine Shiraz batches matured in 2-year-old French and American oak in were selected for their spice, character and sweet tannin profiles. The Grenache and Mourvedre was matured in large new and 1-year-old French and American oak puncheons. The composition of the wine is Shiraz 51%, Grenache 40% and Mourvedre 9%
Shiraz and Grenache in perfect proportion deliver juicy blueberry and cherry fruits with the Mourvedre contributing richness and length. The palate gives a generous sweet and full entry of complex berry fruits leading to a solid, spicy palate of red berries, a complete creamy tannin structure with excellent texture and length of flavour. The finish is refreshing and clean with alcohol well in check. A classic style.
