This Sierra Foothill valley is renowned for its old vine Zin vineyards, where fiery red volcanic soils produce fruit with intense, earthy character. The 100+ year old vines of the original Granpere Vineyard, along with the 40-year old vines of the Deaver and Lindsteadt vineyards produce a wine that is chewy and spicy, rich with blackberry fruit and a hint of velvent vanilla oak.
