- Color is a deep and clear red. There are aromas of violet and apricot, chocolate and Turkish Delight, strawberry and spice, real comforting nuances of soft delicate wood and fresh herbal hints. On the palate are intense flavors of blackberries and spice, mellow tannins and a seamless flow between the fruitiness, the refreshing tang of acid, and the tannic structure of Shiraz. Splendid acid to this wine, there are dark berries, melted chocolate and anise biscuit, cassis and licorice.
