Foris Pinot Gris Rogue Valley 2007

Winemaker's Notes:

Wine Tasting Notes Very fresh aromas of minerals and intense stone fruits. Sumptuous flavors of peaches and minerals on a medium bodied frame. Excellent framing acidity throughout. Vibrant and racy, this wine is structured in the traditional French Alsacien style rather than the lighter Pinot Grigios of Italy. Very well balanced, this wine will provide excellent drinking over the next few years.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
