The color of the wine is classic Cabernet, a deep, brooding purple at the center with bright ruby along the edges. The nose is beautiful with rich aromas of leather, anise, baking powder and ripe black fruit. The taste is decidedly fruit forward, with ripe blueberries, blackberries and plum washing over your palate from the first sip. The dark fruit transitions effortlessly to some mineral notes of dusty limestone and wonderful spice notes of black pepper and espresso midpalate. The finish is divine, with nicely structured tannins supporting a velvety mouthfeel and a long, smooth and exceptionally dry finish. This is our very first vineyard designated Cabernet Sauvignon and definitely a showstopper! Beautiful dark color with aromas of violets, chocolate and cedar. complex with dense blackberries, chocolate covered cherries and loads of spice. balanced with plush, lively tannins and long, spicy finish.

If you have been searching for an elegant, full-bodied Cab, this is the end of your journey. Our 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon is exactly what you have been longing for. This wine has incredible structure and gained great depth from extended barrel and bottle aging. It opens with beautiful aromas of blackberry, lilacs, currants and a hint of anise. The flavors are mouthwatering with the mixture of rich, dense dark fruits of blackberry, huckleberry and plum balanced by nice acidity and tannins. This wine has an elegant mouthfeel with multiple layers that cascade from one to the other like a waterfall, followed by a long, supple finish. When thinking of the perfect food pairing, beef and barbeque comes to mind. Try with a blackened steak salad topped with blue cheese or a marinated grilled flank steak with rosemary and garlic topped with caramelized Walla Walla sweet onions.
