Forest Glen Pinot Grigio California 2010
This is a 98% Pinot Grigio, 1% Muscat Canelli blend. It has apricot-peach aromas and crisp acidity and then a delicate wave of fruit flavors through the finish but I would not call this wine fruity. This wine has won a number of awards and I can see why. Their are not many wines in this price range I consider buying a case of.Add winemaker's notes
Forest Glen wines have been produced in Geyserville in Sonoma County, California since 1990. Their wines are produced to be consumed young, without the need for further bottle aging. According to the Noble Estates website, the wines are “100% barrel aged.” We’re not sure what that means either, but consumers have remarked on the toasty, smooth flavors.

External Reviews for Forest Glen Pinot Grigio California
Light citrus scents carry through this simple, grapey Pinot Grigio, to chill for roast chicken.
Apricot and peach nose, dry with good body and crisp acidity. A delicate wave of fruit flavors through the finish.
Tart and herbal, with hints of fig and melon flavors, this Grigio has sufficient inherent tartness to stand up nicely to a fish fry.
Fresh, young and strong, with citrusy flavors, this is very dry. You'll notice acidity, too. It's a refreshing, crisp wine that scours the palate clean.
As refreshing as a swim on a hot day or the taste of the first snow, this bright, crisp wine is great before dinner or with light pasta dishes.
