I have no idea what year this was made or what variety grapes went in, The label tells not. But the screw cap gets a few points, and hey, this is the kind of wine I like. Not very sophisticate, goodly amount of alcohol (14.5%). Its not real complex but it has a pleasant if not punchy acid and tannic structure. May over bear some suttler meals, but I would imagine will hold up well to some hardy meat and BBQ dishes. It didn't go great with my Tuscan Kale and sausage soup but I didn't make a concious decision to have both at the same time. For under 10 bucks, hard to beat for my tastes.
Big. Tannic. Black cherry and light leather. Balanced. Medium body, juicy, medium acid. Great QPR
What a blend! Including no fewer than seven different varietals, this red blend will please anyone looking for a bright, fruity wine to pair with grilled meats or spicy pasta dishes. Ruby red in color. The nose is packed with fruit that lasts through the finish and gives way to subtle spiciness and light tannins. The bottle also boasts a screwcap, making it perfect for dinner parties or outdoor adventures of any kind.
Savor this blend of Zin, Sangiovese and Petite Sirah with anything calling for an easy, full-bodied red wine. Itrsquo;s fruity and spicy, with berry-cherry flavors and a smooth, rich balance of acids and tannins.
