- "The 2001 Chianti Classico Riserva Vigna del Sorbo (90% Sangiovese and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon) is a deeply-flavored effort, with layers of black cherries, minerals and sweet toasted oak that flow from the glass in a stunning expression of contemporary Chianti. With air lovely balsamic notes appear, completing this magnificent, elegant wine, which should provide highly pleasurable drinking to age 20...90" WA 05/07.

- 90% Sangiovese and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon from a 35-year-old single vineyard. Ripe cherry and plum on nose with underlying complexity. Explosive palate, full bodied, well structured and very focused. Round, silky tannins. Good undertone of acidity and elegant, long finish. Drink 2006-10.
