Cherry vanilla tea on the nose with a teeny bit of spice. Beautiful red fruit nose of raspberries cherries and sweet spice. Palate is nicely balanced medium bodied some hints of red and black fruit, tea leaves classic characteristics of chianti Classico but better and more complex. Wonderful with my Italian dinner.

Cherry nose laced with eucalyptus, freshly crushed red berry and oak notes. On the palate, nice toast and spice with black cherry and raspberry flavors. Youthful fruit with good structure and balance. Nice! 4/14/12

Selected among Fonterutoli's 120 different parcels, after the master blend of its "big brother" Castello di Fonterutoli. It's the estate's "second vin", the most widely known and distributed.
