A New-World style Chianti - silky, rich and soft with a long, fruit-filled finish. Elegant is the word here: deep, multi- layered and medium to full bodied and packed with elegant flavors of black fruits. Smooth tannins, lively balancing acidity and a light overlay good make this wine drinkable now or in the next 3 - 4 years.
Blackberry and milk chocolate aromas follow through to a medium body with silky tannins and a fruity finish with a hint of fresh herb and mushroom. Solid as always. Best after 2009. 32080 cases made. James Suckling 90WS
