Fontana Candida Pinot Grigio Venezie IGT 2011

Winemaker's Notes:

Lush and full-bodied with a light, fruity aroma and crisp, refreshing taste. This lively wine is the perfect complement to fettuccine alfredo, chicken cacciatore, light seafood dishes, mild cheeses and prosciutto-wrapped melon.

Touches of pear and almond give this light, dry white an easy approachability which resolves into an herbal finish.

Yes, it's light, but it's also clean and fresh, blending pear and lime flavors pleasantly into a decent aperitif.
