Font I Jordana Brut Reserva NV

Editorial Review by Gregory Dal Piaz:

Intensely citrussy on the nose with assertive chrysanthemum and chamomile aromas. Smooth and fairly rich in the mouth, this is supple, well-integrated and downright luxurious on the palate. There’s a bit of obvious sweetness here, with layered flavors of fresh fruit and some incipient notes of butcher’s wax, dried flowers and old cheese rind adding complexity. The nose is a little off-putting but in the mouth this offers a very interesting and attractive flavor profile that finishes with good length and dry, firm acidity ending on a pop of dried yellow fruit. Delicious stuff. 89pts
