Folie a Deux Zinfandel Dry Creek Valley Sonoma 2010

External Review by WineExpress.com:

One of the first places to turn to for outstanding Zin is Dry Creek Valley. A small but quality AVA in Sonoma with a warm climate and old vine plantings from the early Italian immigrants. The ocean fog rolls in in the morning, cooling down the warm temperatures and giving the grapes a much needed break from the California sun. When Trinchero bought Folie a Deux and decided to make it a Sonoma brand, they sourced top quality fruit from the best areas, which is just what we have in this wine. 90% Zinfandel and 10% Petite Sirah from prime vineyards in Dry Creek Valley are aged up to 18 months in French and American oak. The wine shows intense, juicy and jammy fruit. Seriously good Zin at a great price!
