Always a solid choice. This vintage is very fruit-forward and toasty, but there is still a great mineral backbone, with spice and earth to round it out. Smells a bit like pinecones, not a complaint!

Gentle semi-acidic Pinot, a little bit of butter on the aroma, which also has some detectable oak. Pretty easy drinking wine w/ a nice coating texture, would love to have this w/ a filet or pork tenderloin. Drinks well by itself.

A very creamy Pinot that has a hint of cherry and Oak. I really liked the wine. Very drinkable...I poured a glass and then went back for a second....it was all gone.

Outstanding Pinot, lots of cherry with a rich backside.

The best Pinot I have had all year. Big, rich, round, and complex but still captures the luscious berry character that Pinot is known for. This is the wine that keeps on giving. Great legs, full bodied, long finish and deep vermilion color set this Pinot apart from any I have tasted state-side. It's a private winery so sales can only be done on their website, or affiliated ones. Do your self a favor and get this wine before it runs out. You will not be disappointed. Drink now or hold till 2011. $60-70$

[Crab and Fin, LBK] Higlhy acidic, bold red fruit, black cherry, cranberry; more burgundian than standard Cali PN, but not restrainted. Very nice would definitely purchase again at this price.

The main things that stand out about the Flowers winery is the delicacy and acidity in their wines. This Pinot exhibits fresh red raspberries on the nose, while earth and red fruit fill the palate. Delicious!

Medium-light garnet color. Cherry compote aromas accentuated by Fennel spice and violet. Flavors evocative of roasted meats, olives and citrus add to the complexity. Acidity is balanced with supple tannins to produce a smooth, uplifting finish. Enjoy now or cellar up to 3 years. - Winery

Winemaker's Notes:

Bright ruby color with violet hues on the rim. Blackberry and briar patch come forward in the initial aromas and evolve into high-toned cherry and bergamot orange. Flavors of dried black cherries and savory herbs complement the bright acidity and supple tannins which frame a lingering and silky finish.
