Always a solid choice. This vintage is very fruit-forward and toasty, but there is still a great mineral backbone, with spice and earth to round it out. Smells a bit like pinecones, not a complaint!
Gentle semi-acidic Pinot, a little bit of butter on the aroma, which also has some detectable oak. Pretty easy drinking wine w/ a nice coating texture, would love to have this w/ a filet or pork tenderloin. Drinks well by itself.
Smooth and very easy to drink. Hint of berries. Would love to try with food but am happy enjoying it on its own.
A very creamy Pinot that has a hint of cherry and Oak. I really liked the wine. Very drinkable...I poured a glass and then went back for a second....it was all gone.
Very sweet, cherry aromas. Very soft and fruity, with gentle supporting tannins.

Flowers vineyards rise up just two miles from the rugged Pacific Ocean cliffs at elevations of 1,150 to 1,875 feet. Nursery owners in Pennsylvania, Walt and Joan Flowers combined their love of wine with their passion for agriculture.
Bright ruby color with violet hues on the rim. Blackberry and briar patch come forward in the initial aromas and evolve into high-toned cherry and bergamot orange. Flavors of dried black cherries and savory herbs complement the bright acidity and supple tannins which frame a lingering and silky finish.
A model of total elegance and class the 2011 Pinot Noir from Flowers is absolutely gorgeous. Savory herbs crushed flowers licorice salt orange peel mint and plums are all woven together in the glass. Today the 2011 is impeccably crafted and flat-out gorgeous. Although very much a medium-bodied wine I would not at all be surprised to see the 2011 blossom with more time in bottle. This is an impressive effort. Unfortunately the Sonoma Coast was the only 2011 Flowers Pinot I was able to taste but based on this effort 2011 is certainly shaping up well here.
