Fleurie Clos de la Roilette 2008

Winemaker's Notes:

"Coudert’s 2008 Fleurie smells intriguingly of green tea, lightly-cooked blackberries, and peat. Deep, smoky, peat-like low tones inhabit the surprisingly plush-textured palate as well, along with subtly, tart blackberries and herbal concentrates. This finishes with surprising brightness, impressive persistence and fascinating herbal and mineral subtlety, but it is not a Beaujolais cru to seek out if sweetness of fruit is your goal...89" 9/09
