Mittelintensives Karminrot. Die dominanten Aromen, die diesen typischen Roten der Gegend auszeichnen, sind in der Nase blumige (Iris, Veilchen), am Gaumen fruchtig-beerige (v.a. Cassis, Himbeer), die zudem von Pfirsich- und  Rosennoten der Rebstöcke unterstrichen werden. Dabei wirkt der Wein betont mineralisch. Elegant, subtil und ausgewogen, gilt Fleurie La Madone als die Königin unter den Beaujolais, die Femininste unter Ihresgleichen und die Schweizerischste aller Crus Beaujolais.
