Fleur de Mer Cotes de Provence Rose 2006

Member Review by Aegelis:

(NV review). I really should know better by now than to fully read the label and tag. The trouble is, makers wax poetic about the joys of nuances, origin, and supposed other infused flavours. Truth is, Franzia's Zinfandel wine in a box has this beat on all accounts. "Flower of the Sea" is dry, tart, light, and unless you want to impress someone with basic French vocabulary, there's not much of a point of ponying up the extra cash. As a positive It is alcoholy and drinkable, but far from impressive.

This wine was light and crisp, though it had a slightly metallic taste.
