Percentage Grape: 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot<br/><br/>Soil: Well drained alluvial sandy soil; Karoo.<br/><br/>Growing Climate: 11 - 16 year old vines on 4-wire Perold trellising system. Drip irrigation controlled by a computer system through meters and tensiometers.<br/><br/>Type of Harvest: Hand harvested. Night harvested at optimum ripeness. Yield 8 tons per hectare. R/S 2.0g/l<br/><br/>Vinification Length: Fermented on skins for 7 days. Wood againg on French staves for 12 months.<br/><br/>Vinification Method: Style: Full-bodied.
