Five Rivers Chardonnay 2007
Wine Tasting Notes This wine is a cool climate Chardonnay, expressing its Monterey personality from start to finish. The nose is full of bright tropical fruit with a citrus top note and barrel spice. The accompanying white peach adds a delicate softness to the bouquet. There is a full, creamy mouthfeel, which is nicely balanced with crisp cool climate natural acidity. Flavors of pineapple and pear, with a touch of vanilla spice, come through in the lengthy finish.
Throughout literature, in both modern and ancient times, there have been five basic elements that give life on the planet. Our wine, Five Rivers, takes its name from these five elements which shape our vineyard and enliven our wines. Our vibrant red goddesses, the flowing icons of our labels, embody these elements. The Goddesses of Air, Fire, Earth, Time and Water serve as our inspiration and are representation of a world just waiting to be discovered.
