Holy residual sugar, Batman! Super fruity (pears, golden apple, pineapple). Also has this cedar note that's odd for a Chardonnay. However, if I didn't know it was Chardonnay and ate Chinese food with it, maybe it would work.
This was on special offer at my local supermarket for a mere five pounds and I drank it last night with my pasta supper.I am afraid that my language is not as flowery as the other two reviews for this wine but I did like it and thought it reasonable value for money.It is not too dry or sharpe and there is plenty of fruit there [think melon,apple and butter] It is a typical Californian chardonnay but it does not quite have the quality of the Pierre Chanau Tastevinage Bourgogne Chardonnay I drank and reviewed for Snooth a while ago
