Add your reviewGreeny gold colour. Slightly creamy aniseed and fennel with hints of pear. Crisp, smooth and full on the palate with an excellent fruity expression and an unusual aniseed finish. Marcelo, winemaker and owner says this wine is ideal with anything in the afternoon. Pinned him down to suggest paella de montaña, pasta and fideua.
This is the sister wine from Finca Viladellops. 100% Xarel.lo but with barrel ageing - 8 months in French Oak. Vines 40 - 50 yrs Bright golden colour. A floral and buttery nose with only a very slight note of oak - subtle!. Lots of minerals - sure thing if you check the terroir - limestone and clay. Full and complex on the palate. Fresh, acidic and well balanced. Nice with a selection of cured light meats such as the many types of embutidos made.
