Scent is smoky, earthy, and a bit of licorice. Dark berries and leather to start. Dusty middle, with a long, licorice finish.
A cheap crianza, plain but very good for the money. Some slightly bitter tannins, but well balanced by surprisingly good fruits. (Tasted as part of a marathon at the Wines from Spain trade event.)
Smokey. Bear thinks it's close but misses on most everything. Pretty wet.
