A simple pleasure--fruit-forward in the best sense, with aromas and flavors of leather, plums, vanilla, and spice. MSRP is $12, so it's a good deal for the wine.
This wine was a simple pleasure from start to finish--a new world fruit-forward wine that was made with some restraint. Smooth aromas of plum, leather, and vanilla. Flavors of plum, spice, and a meaty note that went very well with lamb chops and a potato gratin.
