Finca Flichman Malbec 2010

Member Review by Argovino:

The oak is apparent right away in the sweet, mellow nose. There’s a straightforward taste of cherry with hints of coffee grinds, then a clean, quick finish. (AV 85, http://argovino.com/?p=200)

This is a really nice wine red wine for $6.99/bottle. It has a nice nose to it. Although it's only a year old the bottle claims it has been aged in oak 3 of those months, and I can taste a slight hint of chocolate. It's fairly smooth, but with a little sharpness toward the end, probably because it's so young. I will buy it again, and maybe I will let a bottle sit in the rack for a year and see what it's like then.

Deep black fruit and light cedar greet you on the nose of this oak-aged Malbec from Argentina. Medium- to full-bodied with black currant plum and allspice notes. Perfect for barbecue.
