Finca Flichman Malbec 2009

Member Review by jmd477:

Very good! This bargain-priced Malbec (I paid $6.99) perfectly complimented the Rib Eye and Vegetables I had on the grill this past weekend. With definite hints of vanilla, this is a much lighter and smoother Malbec and far less robust and intense than others I have had recently. It's texture and palate was almost more reminiscent of a Pinot Noir than Malbec. Regardless, this is a solid Malbec and well worth the price. KYLA!

Light, fresh, soft tannins, slight cherry nose. For the price of $6.00 I am very pleased. Used an aerator and was able to enjoy it without having to vent for extended period of time. Pleasant for a cool spring evening.

Weingut: Finca FlichmanLand: ArgentinienRegion: MendozaRebsorte: 100% MalbecInhalt: 0,75 lAlkoholgehalt: 13,5 Vol.%Empfohlene Serviertemperatur: 12 - 16 °CFaßreife: Ausbau in Stahltanks, in Barriques gereift (bis 6 Monate)Lagerfähigkeit: 2 - 3 Jahre ab Jahrgang Rotwein > Argentinien > Mendoza
