User Reviews for Finca El Origen Malbec Gran Reserva
Add your reviewThis is the darkest red wine I've ever had. Barely any light passes through it, it's almost black! Likewise, feels heavy in the mouth. Lot's of fruit. turns your lips dark purple and black.
This is a medium bodied Malbec from Argentina. Nose was somewhat muted but still pleasant. Noted hints of blueberries and plums in a background of spiciness that tend to cover up the fruit flavors. A good Malbec for this price but there are definitely better Argentina wines out there.
Found at Cobblestone's Ocean NJ Bought 5 - Boxed & tissue wrapped. Delicious full body plenty of tannens. A great meritage.
I first bought this wine at my local grocers when they were recommending "Good wines under $10". I didn't expect much, but was quite surprised that this lovely, deep violet red delivered nicely, complimenting many foods. I can drink this teary red with a meal or after, or just on its own, and find it delightful and smooth for an inexpensive red. It is fruity in a dark, rich way and lingers well. One of my new favorite Malbecs, I recommend this to all my red-wine loving friends.
