Winemaker's Notes:
This wine encompasses the idea of single plot; it is produced from 100% Tempranillo from plot 23 (39º59´N 4º31´26W). This specific plot was chosen after three in-depth studies to grapes that expressed the finest Tempranillo fruit and structure. The wine is ideal on its own or with Iberian meats, cured cheeses, game, and red meat.
Tasting Notes:
The barrel characteristics have a lot of impact on the nose of this wine; there’s so much vanilla that marshmallow comes to mind, but the flavor of the wine is ripe and plummy with strawberries and cherries too. Fruit, oak notes, and herbs seem to carry equal weight here.
24000 bottles produced.
Aged 6 months in American Oak.
Aged 6 months in French Oak.
