Made from low producing old (>80 years) baga vines. Filipa chose to vinify these in wooden lagares, this way the hard tannins from the baga are polymerized from the begining and end up softer. For those who have experience with baga, this is elegant and soft (relatively speaking). 100% baga and 18 months in used oak. The wine is dark rubi with a redish rim. Complex nose, dark ripe fruits, toasted and caramel notes. In the mouth it´s sharp and racy with great structure. Should continue aging very well. [91]
