Feudo Arancio Stemmari Nero d'Avola 2008
Beautiful cherry color, blueberry/bright cherry nose, and a great wild blueberry palate with just a hint of vanilla. Nicely integrated acidity, full midpalate, moderate tannins and a medium finish. Very elegant and well crafted.Add winemaker's notes

I like this wine very much. Easy to drink, nice berry tones. Not particularly tannic.
That last guy can impress you with all the aristocratic adjectives he wants; this is NOT a good wine. I keep gradebook-type ratings on the wines I drink, and this is the first wine to receive a "D" in my humble opinions. Overly tannic, not particularly flavorful, and literally hard to swallow. I brought the temperature down a bit, and that only helped MARGINALLY. I love Neros, but not all Nero D'Avolas are created equal. I implore you to skip this one.
