Four and a half glasses
Very rich treacly wine with notes of coffee, stewed fruits. Very intense. Basically a beefy food wine, not very fruity, and too overpoweringly dense (not in a good way) for me.
Very surprised with this one. Essentially, it's my go-to cooking vino, though it's not bad at all to sneak in a couple of glasses while working in the kitchen. Straightforward varietal expression of Nero d'Avola, with good structure, acidity and lovely, restrained sour cherry note with spice. Remember, never cook with a wine you would not like to drink once in a while.
