Pale gold with green highlights. Elegant, intense aromas of apple, banana and pineapple with hints of white flowers. Medium-bodied with a lingering finish of citrus and minerals.

Dominated by citrus and mineral notes, but pear and light almond flavors round it out. Light bodied and crisp, with a slight bitterness on the finish.

A tasty, entry-level white, the 2011 Falanghina shows lovely depth in its fruit to balance the intensely floral aromatics. Sweet honeyed notes add complexity on the layered finish. Anticipated maturity: 2013–2014.
