First Aglianico taste I had. This one was earthy, spicy, some animal notes too. On the palate it was agressive, a little hard, robust, definately unique.Lot's of tannins and probably will get better with some aging. [86]

Rubrato is bright ruby red in color,with an intense, richly aromatic nose of red berries and spice which follow through to the palate. This is a well balanced wine with toasty oak elements on the finish. Recommended with lightly grilled meat dishes.
