We had this one last night with a roasted chicken--and after polishing a couple glasses of the dregs of some other whites that were in the refrigerator. This one is a crisp, fairly light wine--pretty much what I expect from an Italian white. I may have been influenced by the back label that discusses the vines growing near of Mt. Vesuvius. So, I detected an lot of minerality. Not unpleasant, but, definitely, noticeable.

Clean and crisp on the finish, this bright Falanghina ages just three months in stainless steel to lock in the wine’s fruity freshness. Green apple, kiwi and cut grass appear on the bouquet followed by peach and cantaloupe melon.

Pale gold with green highlights. Elegant, intense aromas of apple, banana and pineapple with hints of white flowers. Medium-bodied with a lingering finish of citrus and minerals.

A citrusy white, with forward notes of white grapefruit and melon following through to a crisp finish. Drink now.
