Reviews

Yeah, pretty good stuff here. You'll find a port and plum nose; ripe berry.

This dark cabernet has a bouquet that immediately screams black cherry, chocolate, maybe a hit of vanilla, and earth. It is a strong flavored wine with lots of body, typical of California cabs. This is a good cab; nice and dry; meaty; nice taste and a fairly short finish for a big bodied cab. I find this wine a bit pricey for the quality, and at 13.5% alc., I think some of the quality is sacrificed for the alcohol level. I know that is a prevalent trend especially in American wineries, but i would like it better at around 12 to 12.5%.

I pulled a bottle of this stuff out of the cabinet the other night because I was out of my usual $30/bottle cab, and to say the least, I was very impressed! Velvety and smooth, in addition to a wonderful fruity nose----ahhh, very nice for a low-cost cab. This will be my go-to cab when I can't afford my clos du val

Tasting Notes - On the nose you?ll find deep, rich aromas of blackberry, cassis, cherry and vanilla, with evident spice from the oak and a hint of herbs. Tasting delivers a rich layered texture of ripe blackberry mocha, toffee and vanilla...
