Good, smooth, cab, especially for the money! If I were Fetzer, I would not like the "good for the money" label, but, those of us who drink wine every day, we LOVE those wines!! Keep it up, you have fans!!

Quite firm, with toasty oak framing black currant and herbal notes. Drink now through 2005.

Dark purple in color, with a rich nose of blackberry, spice and vanilla aromas. On the palate, the wine offers ripe blackberry, chocolate, and focused spices, enhanced with gentle vanilla flavors. Tannins are firm in this medium-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon, with pleasant toastiness emerging on the finish.

Light-bodied, with a pleasant tanginess. Wild berry and cedar flavors mingle well. Drink now.

From this consistent value producer, a nice everyday Cab, with good flavors of blackberries and herbs, and fine, dusty tannins. It turns even richer on the finish, with a lingering taste of oak.

Here's an herbal, minty Cab with some true varietal notes. It's very dry and clean in the mouth, with melted tannins. Everyday-style price, but with some real elegance, especially in the velvety texture.

There's a refreshing tang to the berry and herbal flavors, with pleasant cola and spice notes and smooth tannins. Drink now.

Smooth-textured currant, cranberry, cedar and spice notes are easy-drinking, ending with a tobacco edge. Drink now.

Winemaker's Notes:

Wine Tasting Notes The blend is predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon, with a touch of Syrah and Zinfandel, along with Tannat, a nearly black grape most famous for adding color and tannic complexity in the wines of Madiran, just south of Bordeaux.
