This vintage was not as good as the past couple of years, but good wine. Previous years worth the money, this one may not be.

With its beautiful light golden straw color this refreshing Viognier offers aromas of honeydew melon, lychee nut, apricot and orange blossom. On the palate you will find flavors of white peach, Maui gold pineapple, crème brulee, vanilla and honeysuckle.

According to Robert Parker - The 2008 Viognier Santa Barbara is an inexpensive, tasty introduction to what Santa Barbara Viognier is all about. Abundant notes of tropical fruits, apricots, and white peaches emerge from this richly exuberant, fruity, round, generous, crowd-pleasing white wine.
