So too did the purchase of 714 acres in the Santa Ynez Valley change the course of the Parker family’s history. This Rhone red wine bears notes of spice, blackberry, leather, and vanilla on the nose. Distinct flavors of dark cherry, plum, black currant and toast are evident on the palate along with hints of mint and other herbs. The body is defined by firm tannins and a smooth smoky finish.

This Syrah certainly lives up to its name offering aromas of blackberry jam, plum, blueberry, graham cracker, maple syrup and vanilla. Fruit flavors of blackberry and blueberry combine well with vanilla, toasty oak and cinnamon to create a rich and round finish.
