Usually I prefer dry Rieslings, but this bottle had fantastic bright fruit with notes of lychee, lemon and honeysuckle. The acid cuts through nicely making it perfectly balanced. Definitely German in style, but California fruit allows this wine to express its terroir accurately. Yum!!

While this is a slightly off-dry wine, it retains a bright, crisp acidity, and is perfectly matched to a wide array of foods. The aromatics and flavor profile are exotic and inviting, with mysterious notes of Lychee nut, white peach and citrus on the nose and mouth. This wine pairs seamlessly with Thai and Vietnamese cuisine, and is also the ideal sipping wine.

Winemaker's Notes:

Wine Tasting Notes This off-dry White Riesling displays prominent peach, floral, apricot and pineapple elements. It is not a dessert wine but, rather, a semi-sweet (3.5% residual sugar) white wine with a balanced, bracing acidity to be enjoyed with a wide array of foods. Some suggested pairings are with Asian dishes, spicier foods, Summer salads, chilled soups, cheeses, fruits and fruit based desserts. Best served slightly chilled.
