/ Salmon-pink color with a fragrance of Hawthorne flowers, red currants and wild strawberries. Its palate is dry and refined with a sweet almond finish. Serve this wine as an aperitivo or pair with lighter dishes, particularly seafood.
/ The latest set of releases by Ferrari confirms what the Lunellis have been claiming for years; the Perle bottlings (a term indicating softer sparklers, much like France's cremants, bottled at lower atmospheric pressure) really are fine. These wines can rival better Champagnes, but keep in mind that they offer less yeasty nuttiness and more ripe fruit character. Salmon-pink color with a very fine mousse. Refined nose offers wild strawberry, raspberry and red rose aromas, complicated by hints of white pepper and clove. Inviting and nuanced on the palate, with captivating, deep flavors of ripe strawberry, orange peel, almond and mushroom. A complex bubbly that finishes long and clean, with a delicate balsamic edge.

Rose - SmartMoney/ "Ferrari is a lot of wine for the money", says [Bobby] Stuckey. "It drinks like really delicious CHampagne." No surprise, since it's made using the same method.
Bubbling up rose/ Refreshing? Great food wine? A sparkling rose will fit the bill and more. Here is a top-rated recent release.
Rose - 92 Points, Wine Review Online/ ... Ferrari is a superb sparkling wine producer. A blend of Pinot Noir (60%) and Chardonnay, this is a seriously intense Rose... It conveys clear red wine character without losing any of the creamy elegance imparted by Chardonnay. Delightful to drink by itself, its power allows it to stand up to food, such as grilled salmon.
