Lightly nutty and quite dry and earthy on the nose with gently aromatic dried apple and preserved citrus fruits layered over vanilla and ginger cream notes. A fine blend of bright acidity and creamy mouthfeel makes this bright and nervous in the mouth. The flavors are complex and broad on the palate with base notes of nuts, dried flowers and a very fine used wood sheen that supports crisp heirloom apple, green plum and dried lime flavors. The finish is long and a bit creamier and sweeter with vanilla notes coming to the fore over the sweet, ripe fruit and gently spicy oak flavors. There's a hint of sweetness that may be off-putting to some here but this is awfully good in this style. 91pts Acidity: Medium Perceived Sweetness: Medium Low Oak: Medium Low Spicy Flavors: Medium Low Savory Flavors: Medium Fruity Flavors: Medium High Intensity of Flavor: Medium Weight in Mouth: Medium

With upfront apple, pear, honey, butter cream, and honeysuckle floral notes, this wine is perfectly balanced with fruit and creamy caramel, marshmallow and a lingering, toasted oak finish.

The 2007 Alexander Valley Chardonnay is a delicious wine with floral andfruit aromas of orange blossom, citrus, pear, figs, green apple, and a hint oftoasted marshmallow and caramel. Generous on the palate, creamy vanillaundertones balance layers of toast and spice on the finish.
