Ferrand Chateauneuf-du-Pape 2015

Winemaker's Notes:

93-95 points Josh Raynolds (Vinous): (raised in concrete tanks) Brilliant ruby. Powerful, mineral-accented aromas of ripe red berries, cherry pit, potpourri and musky rhubarb, backed by a hint of Asian spices. Sweet, concentrated and seamless in texture, offering intense raspberry, cherry and lavender pastille flavors and a touch of licorice. Impressively suave and focused; a powerful jolt of candied flowers carries through the long, palate-staining finish. (Mar 2017)

Vintage: NV 04/09/2008

A complex and full-bodied cognac, Reserve has aged an average of 20 years in the barrel and offers a subtle bouquet and smooth flavor. It has a fine gold color and is very fruity and round, with a slightly vanilla flavor. The aroma is like fresh-picked grapes at harvest.
