Felton Road Riesling Central Otago 2010
"The 2010 Riesling has a youthfully muted nose giving notes of lime slices, kumquat and fresh grapefruit with nuances of crushed stones and white pepper. The light bodied palate reveals a medium style in terms of sweetness with a relatively low alcohol (9%) and plenty of citrus and mineral flavors with a good backbone of crisp acid that lingers long into the finish. It should drink best for 2012 to 2019+"*Wine Advocate (90 Points)*

Editorial Reviews for Felton Road Riesling Central Otago
Aromas of minerals, lime oil, and green leaves greet the nose followed by key lime pie, slate, light honey tones and incipient notes of petrol. In the mouth this is fairly sweet and lush yet there's plenty of juicy acidity to keep things balanced. The flavors of citrus, peach and green apple are intense with a topnote of flowers and pollen adding another layer of interest in the mouth. This might be a touch simple on the zesty finish but it's absolutely delicious. 92pts
The nose was reserved showing wet stone, a hint of funk and floral notes. On the palate, it was juicy with balanced acidity and a forward kiss of sweetness with a distinct flavor of lemon curd. The finish lasted long with sweet & sour lemon notes lingering on the palate.
Abacaxi, bastante acido quase licoroso.
Mineral, fruta em compota e mel. Mas com pouca estrutura, sem acidez.

Light in body, yet sinewy in texture and a bit sweet, This Riesling has turned out well. Floral, green apple and lime aromas and flavors are almost Mosel-like, but the wine is richer and weightier than that, clocking in at 10% alcohol. Wine Enthusiast.
