Felton Road Pinot Noir 2010

External Review by JJ Buckley Fine Wines:

Good bright red. Pure but restrained nose offers vague red fruits and spices, plus a hint of cinnamon. Suave on entry, then quite dry in the middle, with strawberry and raspberry flavors perked up by mint and spice elements. Not a sweet or fleshy ... Stephen Tanzers IWC. A Pinot Noir wine from Central Otago in New Zealand. 2010 Felton Road Pinot Noir 750ml

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

Round and easy with a licorice and strawberry character. Full body, with round tannins and fresh finish. Light stemmy character. Very pretty. Drink now. James Suckling. A Pinot Noir wine from Central Otago in New Zealand. 2010 Felton Road Pinot Noir 750ml

Good bright red. Pure but restrained nose offers vague red fruits and spices plus a hint of cinnamon. Suave on entry then quite dry in the middle with strawberry and raspberry flavors perked up by mint and spice elements. Not a sweet or fleshy style. Finishes with a citrus suggestion and a slight greenness. Stephen Tanzers IWC.
