Fazi Battaglia Verdicchio Dei Castelli di Jesi San Sisto Classico Riserva 2007

External Review:

Lemon, apple and lime aromas lead to a full body, with lots of fruit on the palate and a long, creamy, flavorful finish. This is holding on beautifully. Drink now. 1,200 cases made. -JS ** Only 5 in Stock **

Fazi Battaglia San Sisto Classico Riserva 2003 First drank it at a restaurant on a beach at Portonovo (Just south of Ancona in le Marche). Remarkable golden colour that looks like a dessert wine. However it is wonderfully refreshing and dry on the palate. We drank it with calamare and various other fish and seafood. Did the job wonderfully and we later bought a few more bottles from the regional wine cellar in Jesi. Cost about 14EUR a bottle so not cheap! The best wine we drank in Italy by far! Also the best beach we visited but I won't go on about that as this isn't a beach review website ...
