WA 95pts. - This stellar Cab/Cab Franc blend is produced by Screaming Eagle Winemaker Andy Erickson. Winemaker Notes - The final blend of the 2007 Cerro Sur is 66% Cabernet Franc, 34% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine has an incredible vibrancy, with an aromatic intensity that is sensed from the moment the bottle is opened. Ripe, rich blueberry and blackberry fruits mix with Asian spices, coffee bean, orange blossom and smoke. Intense fruit flavors and soft, supple tannins will help the wine to age for many years.
