Food Pairings for Faustino Tempranillo Rioja Faustino VII
Cherry Tobacco, leather, nice dusty old world style for the price.
bolder fruit, darker fruit flavors, nice complexity
Easy to drink, notes of oak and cherries, not too complex.
An excellent Rioja in the best tradition of the region. The color of this wine is very lively with the producer claiming to contain ochre cues, which it really does to my astonishment! Very nice aroma with the freshness of the grapes preserved and vanilla touches from the oak barrels. The taste is full but medium, very nice balance on the sweetness, it feels consistent with an excellent finish.
I've bought from Cologne and now, I'm trying in Istanbul. If you compare with its price: good wine. Red fruits, a little tobacco and oak. But oak is dominante.
Joven, tart plain and uninspiring. Some fruit, and saved by a decent finish. (Tasted as part of a marathon at the Wines from Spain trade event.)
Vino bastante normalito
